Music coming out of the walls – acoustic room systems 14.07.2008

There is now a new acoustic room system which can transform every room into a concert hall. Soundboards a mere 7 mm thick can be installed in almost every wall or ceiling. They incorporate top-class technology. Special moving coils on the rear of the Soundboards convert musical impulses into bending waves. They have clearly audible advantages over conventional sound waves generated by loudspeakers. The Soundboards have a frequency range from 100 to 18,000 Hz, an output from 20 to 120 RMS watts, and spread the sound over 120 degrees (horizontally + vertically) to produce a sound which is precise and expressive yet fills the room.
The system is even suitable for rooms whose architecture is acoustically complex. Since the Soundboards can be equipped with any surface whatsoever, from fine plaster to metals and textiles, it is possible to invisibly integrate the "singing walls" into any surroundings.
